The reason why I took the photos, is that I am doing a photo project of old Victorian cemeteries, so already photographed a number of cemeteries in the Kent area, but also other places like London, Eastbourne, etc. I grew up in Portsmouth, near a local Victorian cemetery, which was one of my playground as a child. I was been interested in old cemeteries since a teenager ( a long time ago), but recently decided to do the project.
