About the Event
A guided tour of Goudhurst village has been arranged for Wednesday 12 August starting in the parish church at 10.30am. Lunch (at own expense) will be arranged at a nearby pub after which we will take a short drive to St Margaret’s Church, Horsmonden. When numbers are known, car sharing could be arranged. If you wish to join the group, please let David Bushell know, also indicating if you are willing to car share as parking in Goudhurst is limited (email – bushell327@btinternet.com ).
The Goudhurst guided tour will be led jointly by Jane Davidson, Chair/Archivist of the Goudhurst Local History Society and by Gill Joye, a FWPC member and former Goudhurst Archivist. A small donation would be appreciated by the guides for their society, £2 at least please.
